About me

My name is Stewart Girvan. I am an experienced and qualified professional photographer currently working freelance in Cornwall and the South West. I graduated with a BA Honours Degree in Photography in Southampton in 2005 and, shortly after, returned to my home County of Cornwall to begin establishing myself as a fulltime photographer.

In the past 5 years I have developed a very successful outlet at the Truro Farmers Market where I sell my own Cornish landscape photography. I have an ongoing portfolio of Cornish landscapes and seascapes which I reprint and sell in various media. I have always been excited by the landscape in Cornwall. So, to be able to setup and run a business where I am working with some of the most beautiful coastline in the world is a dream come true!

About 3 years ago, alongside my fine art work, I began photographing Weddings. This started out as favours for friends, but has snowballed into another exciting business for me.

I am very passionate about Wedding photography in Cornwall and I take the responsibility very seriously. It makes a refreshing contrast from landscape photography, however there are many elements, for me, that cross over between the two. You also get to meet some great people, experience some amazing places, have a licence to photograph everyone and get paid for it! Love it!
