Well, that’s my 11th year complete as a wedding photographer in Cornwall and WOW, what an amazing year it has been! First and foremost I want to thank from the bottom of my heart for all my amazing couples who have entrusted me to be a part of their special day, if you are reading this, you know who you are, you are amazing and thank you.
Being a documentary wedding photographer is such a privileged job and although I have been doing this thing for a few years now I still get that buzz every time I meet a newly engaged couple, hear their story and share their day. I genuinely love this job and all of the places it takes me, the people I meet and opportunities that come from it, I am most definitely one of the lucky ones.
So, enough soppy chat from me, my partner Suzie will proof read this for me before it goes out and I know for a fact that she will be tell me to stop being such a wet blanket! 😉
2019 took me back to some of my favourite wedding venues in Cornwall, some amazing new ones and two incredible destination weddings abroad. One of those being an incredible beach wedding in Northern Denmark and the other a beautiful wedding on Greek Island of Santorini, I can’t wait to share more on these soon. With all my weddings from this year, whether they were in Cornwall or beyond I plan to add them to my wedding blog in full over the coming months so please do keep in touch here or on any of my social media channels for updates. Right, enough of the waffle from me, here is a selection of some of my favourite wedding photos from this year. These might not always be the epic couple shot (although I still love doing these and there has been plenty of these this year I can tell you!) in fact, I have tried to curate this post sharing more moments and stories, after all, that’s what it’s all about right? The photos that I have chosen are the ones that make me smile, the ones that are packed with emotion and the ones that make me reflect back on some of the amazing wedding stories I have witnessed this year. It’s been super hard to pick out my fav’s and there will of course be plenty more to come in my full wedding day stories coming soon but for now please enjoy some of my 2019 highlights.
