Devon Weddings
22nd October 2017
“We saved looking at the photos till last night (good excuse to open a bottle).... We are totally blown away with them! You got the vibe perfect and shots were all fantastic, thank you so much. We really felt like we were there, doing it all again!”
Here is their story...
Can you tell me a little bit about yourselves, for example, where did you meet?
We met in a bar, Sarah mistook Dave for someone she had met the day before and randomly started talking to him.
Can you tell me about the proposal?
Dave proposed at the top of Haystacks in the Lake district. Sarah was in a total mood as she always is when made to walk up mountains! 🙂
Can you tell me about your venues and why you chose them?
We loved the ancient an intimate feel of the church, Widemouth is such a breathtaking place, and our neighbours garden let us have total freedom over the reception
Were you going for a certain style or theme for your wedding?
Totally relaxed and a damn good party!
What is the most memorable moment from the day?
Probably raving to the awesome band
Why did you choose Stewart Girvan Photography?
I loved the style of the photos on the website, totally relaxed and unposed, capturing the real mood of the moment. Meeting Stewart at his studio also gave us a really good feel for who was going to be joining us for the day, and he seemed like someone we would like to hang out with!
How did you feel about having your photos taken and were pleased with your final images?
We didn’t mind one little bit, Stewart was totally unobtrusive and fun! We were blown away by the images he took, as were the rest of our friends and family
Can you tell me about any other suppliers that contributed and played an important part to your wedding? For example, florist, makeup artist, transport, entertainment
Bleujen Florist Bude, Freshly Squeezed (band), Cornwall chef Truro, The plank company (tables and chairs) Clairmont Marquees
Do you have any advice for future couples planning their wedding?
Invest in a few really quality suppliers and keep the rest simple
