Tell me a little bit about yourselves, for example, where did you meet?
We met in Verbier whilst working during a ski season.
Can you tell me about the proposal?
Emma went out to visit Lee in Palma while he had a break between guests and he proposed while we were walking to dinner one evening by the beach!
Can you tell me about your venues and why you chose them?
We chose Kilminorth Cottages because we wanted an outdoor wedding and to do it all ourselves and for people not to have to worry about moving between venues. Also a lot of people travelling from outside of Cornwall so gave people the space to stay on site as well.
Were you going for a certain style or theme for your wedding?
Not really, just rustic and relaxed.
What is your most memorable moment from the day?
So many but probably Lee trying to throw cake into my face! and walking down the aisle and seeing each other for the first time!
Why did you choose Stewart Girvan Photography?
We loved Stewart’s relaxed style of wedding photography and we both took an emotional reaction that we didn’t get from other photographers photos. We also got on well with Stewart straight away which makes a huge difference!
How did you feel about having your photos taken and were pleased with your final images?
We are so pleased with them and can see everyone was having a great day – Stewart also captured many moments that we forgot about or missed!
Can you tell me about any other suppliers that contributed and played an important part to your wedding? For example, florist, makeup artist, transport, entertainment
Lee did the catering through our company The Street Food Cafe and Emma organised everything else from decoration to the flower arrangements through her company Cornish Bluebird. Also used Natasha Flower for Makeup and Off Beat Entertainment DJ’d, The Cornish Tent Company provided the Ti-pi.
Do you have any advice for future couples planning their wedding?
Just enjoy the day! It goes by so quickly and make sure you get a few moments throughout the day to see each other!
